# Rank Volume

### Definition

In order to encourage the distributor to purchase the products himself, each product has a so-called Rank Volume.

Each invoice will yield certain Rank Volume based on the volume related to the completed purchase.\
The invoice has to have the status:\
\- completed\
\- resolved\
\- overpayment\
in order for the Rank Volume to be considered towards the Compensation Plan.\
\
Other then the[ Product Volume](/compensation-plan/business-logic/compensation-metrics/product-volume.md), Rank Volume itself will not yield any Commission, it will only be considered for the [Minimum Rank](/compensation-plan/business-logic/ranks/rank-qualifications/minimum-volume.md)[ Volume Requirement](/compensation-plan/business-logic/ranks/rank-qualifications/minimum-volume.md) .

Therefore, it may result in the distributor moving up in rank and thus being compensated higher in [bonus](/compensation-plan/business-logic/bonus.md) because, for example, the percentage in the [Unilevel bonus](/compensation-plan/business-logic/bonus/unilevel-bonus.md) increases.
