# Automated Placement

### Definition

Generally speaking, if a user is not placed by the end of the 2nd day after the [regular qualifying period](/compensation-plan/business-logic/qualifying-period/regular-period.md) that the user signed up in, he will be placed automatically by the system.\
\
If a user that signed up in January is still within the Holdingtank at the 3rd February 00:00 EST, the placement will be done automatically by the system.\
\
If your [placement position](/compensation-plan/business-logic/structures/binary-structure/user-placement.md#definition) is left, all users in your holdingtank ( as well as the users in their holdingtank ) will be placed to the left.\
The order of placement is from the earliest registration first to the latest registration last.<br>
