# Faststart Period

### Definition

The "Faststart Period" defines the time period that will be used for the calculations of:\

Following you will find how the Faststart Period is defined:

**Start**: right after the registration, independent from any invoice status or products bought

**End**: By the end of the day, 1 month after registration\

This definition assures that every user has at least 28 full days + the day they started at.

### Example 1

User signed up at:  08.01.2023 at 15:57 EST\
\
**Start**: 08.01.2023 at 15:57 EST\
**End**: 08.02.2023 at 23:59 EST\
\
**Cutoff Time**: 22.02.2023 23:59 EST\
\
Any changes after the [Cutoff Time](/compensation-plan/business-logic/qualifying-period/calculation-cutoff-time.md) ( 22.02.2023 23:59 EST )  will be ignored in all calculations.

User signed up at:  31.01.2023 at 15:57 EST\

**Start**: 31.01.2023 at 15:57 EST\
**End**: 28.02.2023 at 23:59 EST\

**Cutoff Time**: 14.03.2023 23:59 EST\
\
Any changes after the [Cutoff Time](/compensation-plan/business-logic/qualifying-period/calculation-cutoff-time.md) ( 14.03.2023 23:59 EST )  will be ignored in all calculations.
